Summary: Of a Mitsubishi Heat Pump Installation at the Historic Baxter Hotel in Bozeman Montana
The customer was looking for an energy efficient option to provide air conditioning to their event space in the hope of growing their event hosting business. Due to the lack of space a traditional HVAC system was out of the question. We were able to design a system that maintained the historic character of the building and provided much needed comfort that the customer desperately needed. The Mitsubishi MXZ-8B48NA heat pump and MSZ-GE12NA indoor wall mounted were the perfect solution to provide: quiet operation, energy efficiency and overall comfort.

The Challenge:
Working with limited space and the historic character of the building posed many challenges. Because of this we had to design a system that was not disruptive to the original method of construction while meeting the needs of our client.
The Solution:
The Mitsubishi MXZ-8B48NA heat pump paired with 4 MSZ-GE12NA wall mounted units. Eliminating the need for ductwork, we were able to work in the tightest of spaces to provide an energy efficient system to our client.
The Benefits:
The installation of the Mitsubishi MXZ-8B48NA heat pump and MSZ-GE12NA wall-mounted units has been an eco friendly solution to keep the space comfortable for guests and staff. The system is energy efficient and eliminates the need for duct work. The individual wall mounted units can be controlled individually for preferred comfort.
Cost/Benefit Analysis:
The cost of a custom designed Mitsubishi ductless system varies based on building design, specific equipment and customer needs. While a ductless system may cost more than a traditional HVAC system, sometimes it is the only option based on space. Fortunately, these systems are more energy efficient and can more than pay for themselves over time.
